The GST-9 V1 was originally launched in November 2019 by 80 Percent Arms for DIY gun builders featuring an improved rail system that ensures smooth cycling every time.
To ensure tight tolerances, the front rails are made from 17-4 stainless steel by precision CNC machining rather than metal injection molding (MIM) which can be porous and warp; the rear rails are stamped from 304 stainless steel in one automated continuous operation on a progressive die instead of getting blanked and then bent on a brake so the rails stay parallel and the holes stay concentric with one another.
